Vance Thornsberry

Vance Thornsberry is a Registered Professional Geologist with over 40 years of domestic and international experience in the mining and mineral exploration industry.  He has held technical, managerial and executive positions as well as holding board positions for several exploration and mining companies.  Vance has a strong background in precious and base metals along with a thorough understanding of economic geology.  He has managed projects from the exploration stage though production.  Vance has a proven track record of being a team player, team builder and team leader.

He was raised in the farming and cattle industry of Missouri, graduating from University of Missouri Rolla with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology and Engineering minor.  While Vance has worked in many parts of the globe, he holds a special interest and knowledge of the mineral history and potential of the Inter-Mountain and Pacific Northwest.  He has called Spokane, WA home since 1978.

Vance clearly understands the relationship between responsible development and use of natural resources and sustainable communities along with their governmental services. Mr. Thornsberry is one of the few mineral industry professionals that have produced results under the State of Oregon’s Division 37 mining laws.

Vance Thornsberry is a member of the Society of Mining Engineering, Society of Economic Geology, American Mining Association and a Professional Geologist registered in the states of WA. and WY.
